Problem: My computer won’t shut down. I tried pressing
the power button already. What should I do now?
Tip: First, hold the power button down for four to five
seconds. If that fails to shut it down, pull the plug from the
wall or the back of the machine. Some machines also have a master
power switch on the back of the power supply.
Problem: My screen resolution has changed. Now I can’t
see everything.
Tip: Right click the mouse anywhere on the Windows
Desktop background, other than an Icon or Toolbar. Select
PROPERTIES from the drop-down box. Now you have opened Display
Properties. Select the SETTINGS tab on the far right. Now you can
increase your RESOLUTION. Try 800x600 for 15-inch monitors and
1024x768 for 17- and 19-inch monitors.
